WOW!!

Post by Glen » Fri May 12, 2017 5:55 pm

I love this car.

Just came back from B&Q and WOW I drove it like I had just stole the thing.
I'm 50 this year and when I drove it like that I felt like a 17 year old again (with more experience)
These cars are special and I feel very lucky when a car can put a smile on your face like these beasts do.

There seem to be a certain range of air temps which these cars just love and performance seems to be much better.  Another reason I'm hanging onto my X6.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

yes they are great , for a heavy large car it can feel like a sports coupe around corners.

Mine had adaptive suspension as has the sport button next to the gear lever and tightens up the steering feel and has less roll versus a model I tested without

For a car that weighs almost 2.5 ton they do go well I guess, my daily VW T5 Sportline however will probably still give our X5 a run for its money :)

It's unreal how well these cars perform, especially on the motorway. They just pull and pull, especially when that second turbo kicks in, really do feel a rush when that happens. It's also amazing how flat the car rides and how well planted it feels on the road, and you can tell how big the car feels by the sound of tyre noise, it is very loud, so you know that you are inside a full sized SUV.

Pulls like a train, while it's like being inside your settee, as our mechanic pointed out!
