4x4 and DSC system failure error message after changing the battery
4x4 and DSC system failure error message after changing the battery
Just fitted a new battery - not coded and registered yet, but have now got the error 4x4 and DSC system failure. I think this can be triggered by a low battery, but that seems odd as it's brand new. Anyone seen this? How do I clear it??
Re: 4x4 and DSC system failure error message after changing the battery
Roll the car forward gently and turn steering from lock to lock. It's not a fault as the steering/DSC system needs to reset itself following a battery change.

So start the car and drive it forward?

Common error message which I think is to do with the steering angle sensors needing to recalibrate....
