Boot Liner - Recommendations

Post by greido » Mon May 01, 2017 3:05 pm

Hi,

Has anyone put a boot liner into their X5?  - If so, was it good and would you recommend it?
I'm finding it difficult to get something that looks good and durable.

Thanks in advance.

Not got an C5but always found Travall mats very good and nice smelling! Their dog guards have always worked for us too.

Could not sell my e70 boot liner, good job as it is a perfect fit in my f15. When I took it out of the e70 the carpet looked like the day it was new, so yes I would recommend a boot liner. Holds any wet/dirty items from marking the boot floor, and is easy to clean.

I also transferred my e70 bootliner to my f15. Its pretty knackered now (the dog chewed the special non slip square in the middle) but it still does the job. Only disadvantage is that it covers the anchor points for luggage in mine. Buy one with a lip to catch liquid spills.

It'll be allright in the end. If it isn't allright it isn't the end

I have on of these and it's great.
Had it in the E70 and now transferred it to the F15

They look pretty good. How do they work with access to the underfloor space?

to get to the underfloor area you just pull the cover off the flap that folds down when the tailgate is open and then it all lifts up together.

It really is good and comes with adhesive backed velcro so you can just pull it all out easily.
The other goof feature is that it works with split back seats so you can have one side down and one up.

At that price I think I'll give it a go. Many thanks.
