LED angel eye upgrade

Post by moggyboy » Sat May 06, 2017 4:01 pm

Although I've got xenon adaptive lights on my e70 35d the angel eyes are normal H8 bulbs.
I'm thinking of swapping to these

Has anyone else used them or can recommend anything else?

cheers

Before you spend £££'s on a disappointing result, check some threads on here.
I, like others, got quite expensive LED's and have gone to a good quality Halogen as the LED bulbs doesn't seem to work too well with the lights meant for a normal H8
I'm in Mansfield if you want to try some before shelling out your cash.

I use nothing more complex than these...

They are white in colour, as bright as the original H8 and a lot cheaper than LED with similar looks.  There are no current LED replacements that will give you the 'LCI look' because of the challenge of getting the light source to couple into the light pipe inside the headlamp.

Photo taken in full sunlight and have now been fitted for more than 5 years with no problems or failures.
