My wife was mugged and they've taken the spare BMW key
What's the cheapest way to get a new spare key?

Lost key -mugged
Re: Lost key -mugged
BMW and around £120 each. They will also remove the stolen key from the car system so it cannot be used. New key will be programmed to work and have the right codes.
Keep the car safe in case the muggers now know your car details. I'm assuming a bag snatch?

Hope she ok! Rest as per x5 sport, get it done right including removal of old key, £120 vs car, no brained.
2005 (55 plate) x5 3.0d sport, auto trans, nav tv thingy, but no dsp.
Under a turbo swap presently (fingers crossed it fixes her!)

Best £10 I've spent was getting Halifax Key Care, lost one of my keys at Tesco of all places, it was painlessly replaced and when it renewed this year it was down to £7.50 Bonus, Hope your wife isn't to traumatised by the experience.
