DSC inactive message

Post by Smeeagain » Thu Apr 27, 2017 6:37 pm

This came up on my 2004 E53 3.0 D Auto today. I'm inclined to believe it is a battery issue as I had a random self level sup inactive message a couple of weeks ago that never came back. the garage had the rear wheel off yesterday to fit a lower rear rose bush which has sorted out the excessive camber - any relation between the two issues?

Is there a reset procedure like the wheel to wheel lock or anything like that?

Sounds like they have disturbed the wheel sensor wiring or the sensor itself, as it's part of the DSC system

No I meant was it the same sensor as the ABS sensor, or some other sensor, although the problem has gone away since I did the full lock to lock reset on the steering wheel
