Been averaging 21.4mpg for mostly city/mornings run. Really don't see good mpg from this. Have just serviced it so maybe its better now?
It is remapped at 315hp but don't know torque figures.

For city/school run/short runs this doesn't surprise me at all. If the engine rarely gets off 'cold' settings then the fuel consumption will climb. You'll need to watch the DPF too or that will need replacing.
Remaps don't always mean better mpg as it will depend on use. Increased power needs more fuel and especially at low speeds/idling.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Only had mine a short time duration as well, but i am also getting just over 30mpg as well,on a long run this could get even better.
My engine is bog standard at the moment but had been think of a chip upgrade, but still gathering information on how reliable the engines still are after the increase in horse power and torque,if i still towed a caravan then i would defiantly done a chip upgrade, but these days it will be just solo and a steady right foot, think old age is creeping in
