Re: Comfort seat
I've not got them, but they adjust in many ways and have the control buttons to reflect this.

Re: Comfort seat
As per below, notable by the switches,
The twin headrest / cushion is the give away
As is the front line of the seats, straight in m sport, curved in comfort with extendable leg rests
Similar (but different) front edge on SE seats, however the SE don't extend....
The back rest is also split to allow tilting
One of those options I should have as aware but never had

Re: Comfort seat
Just on a side note.
Can you retrofit comfort seats, or does the car throw a wobbly?

Re: Comfort seat
You probably can as long as you get the right control module that allows the seat memory to be stored to the keys.
Don't expect them to be cheap though! I think the upgrade was about £800 on my X6 back in 2010.

Did you do it, and was it worth it?

Re: Comfort seat
That upgrade was to go from normal sports seats to Comfort Seats at build. I also added Nappa leather which added another £1,400. These are upgrade from 'default' so not buying complete new seats as you are looking for.
They are definitely a better option to have though.

Re: Comfort seat
Just another thumbs up for comfort seats - once you have had them as an option, the default sport seats are definitely not quite as good.........

Re: Comfort seat
I have to agree comfort seats are a worthwhile upgrade over m sport seats. Very comfortable especially on those 20" wheels.

Re: Comfort seat
My X5's got comfort seats.
When I saw the spec, I didn't want them;
let me explain...
To me, a comfort seat is an 'armchair' type (used to Porsche terms) - exactly what I don't want.
However, when I sat in them, and spent an hour (seriously) setting it up, it is one of the best seats I've ever had.
My other car (991 GT3) has carbon buckets - the X5 Comfort seats hold you almost as well as these !
Definitely the seat to have, and worth every penny.

Re: Comfort seat
Hi, I recently purchased a 2015 F15 X5 M Sport with comfort seats and Exclusive Smoke White leather and completely agree with David_GT3. Take time to set up and they are brilliant and very comfortable.
Mine also has exactly the same memory setup on the passenger seat, which means that my other half has set it to her preferences and when I unlock the car on my key both seats go to their respective settings. Same applies if she unlocks the car (not very often ) when the seats then go to the settings for her key. Brilliant!
I think that with standard memory seats the passengers seat does not have the memory function.
