Hi to you all

Post by Romes » Fri Mar 24, 2017 2:57 pm

I am new to the X series but not to the BMW brand.

I picked up my first X5 Sport on Tuesday and have been getting used to it since. I have a E34 525I SE and a E38 750i Individual so am familiar with the troubles that BMW's can throw up.

There are a few bits to do over the next couple of weeks:

RDC error - think its down to batteries dead in sensors.
Rust on the inside of the lower tailgate, already treated yesterday but this weekend will be sanded, filled and repainted properly.
OBC pixels, did the E38 so familiar with how.
Clatter from the rear - think its the bump stops of the tailgate lid that need adjusting.
A bloody good clean and detail! as its got mildew in places
A full service with all fluids and filters which will be done this weekend.
And rear sub frame bushes - will give that to job to my mechanic!

I will get some pics for your perusal soon.
