As mentioned above,I too put a  small amount of  2 stroke in diesel.  Somewhat controversial,but done it for years. Recently part chopped  5 series for  F15, having done 95k,over 8 years. Always used  2 stroke,at about 200-1. Good discussions about  this on web sites.

You should use Castrol R, used to do motocross years ago and smells gorgeous  )

Oh yes    the smell of the castrol R  That takes me back ,  didn't some guys put it in road or rally cars ?

and as for the additive  its the distance  between Cotswold BMW and myself + it had to cross the Irish sea  and was still here next morning ..... 1st class service
