Brilliant motor!

Post by andym3 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 6:31 pm

Just a quick post to praise the E53 X5! :D
My X5 is a 2000 X-reg 4.4 V8 model and I have to say it is bloody brillant and im so amazed with the drive! Being nearly 11 years old and it still drives like its brand new off the forecourt! If you were to drive another car or 4x4 of a similar age it would feel like a knackered old heap, but not the X5! Also the look of the car is still very modern and in my opinion still looks a very nice motor! :D 8-)

Agree with you on that one - any example not too far from OEM (personalised tastes) still catch my eye.

Although meeting a friend with his silver X6 did get more attention

I hate him anyway! :P

I am with you on this mate!

Even if I was to look 10k above the price I paid for mine, it would be hard for me to swap it for anything else!

can't disagree with that.
Although last week it was in the back of my mind to get rid due to problems with suspension.
But a quick trip to the dealer for a diagnostic and what turned out to be a quick fix and all is well.
Drives like a new car again :)
