I wanted to add tailpipe covers but was not prepared to pay the BMW prices so after looking around online I found these

Been looking at similar for my x5.  Do they clamp on or welded?

They are supposed to be clamped on but as they are only 1mm bigger than standard pipes they just need to be firmly pushed on (I used a rubber mallet). Only problem is once on you won't get them off
