Just wanted to say a BIG HELLO to everyone on here.
Recently bought a E53 4.8is, been a while wanting one and now got it love the V8 rumble. Its been looked after well by previous owner so hopefully wont trouble you guys too much. Can sense the wishbones are giving in and the door handles stick every now and then, but already read through posts on here how to fix it up. & fingers crossed no new ones turn up )

Hi and welcome to the forum. A bit of lubrication on the door may be called for before the carrier is put under stress and gives way.
The X5 is prone to suspension wear, as it's a heavy beast, is it knocking and creeping ?
Unfortunately the 4.8's Achilles heal is the around suspension, hope you enjoy your new motors great sound track

Thanks for the warm welcome, yup it knocks on drive off which im guessing is the rear sub frame bushes. Get a little extra judder over potholes and bumps so most prob wishbones are on there way out or already shot, knowing my luck will be the latter.
