X3 Fuse Location

Post by Dans6490 » Mon Feb 20, 2017 9:37 am

Does anyone know which fuse is for the airbag dash light? I changed the speakers and accidentally unplugged the airbag. It's going in for mot tomorrow so it's a temporary fix until the eBay order arrives and I can turn it off.

Any help welcomed

Thanks, just tried that but I think it's for the actual airbag itself. It's strange because you can take out the instrument cluster fuse and all dash lights go off apart from the airbag light!!!! Can't work out which is the airbag light fuse!!

The MOT centre should detect this as the light should come on and then go out.  A completely missing light is a 'red flag' to the tester to look further.  A missing or inoperative light is an automatic fail.
