Your first post asked about doing it without removing the bumper, your third post asks simply for info. If there is no info on here about doing it without removing the bumper and the youtube cideo indicates removing the bumper, then that would suggest doing it without removing the bumper is either more difficult or impossible. In the absence of the i fo you want why not try and see if it can be done?

Re: Aux Fan
i did mine a few years ago, nightmare it was,
I had to remove the bumper, then slide it out from underneath,
what was the kicker though is the new one I got , didn't work either, so I wasted my time , and I bought an aux fan for nothing

Re: Aux Fan
no , it was one of them unsolved mysteries I'm afraid , I think I changed a couple of temperature sensors, I know I did one on the lower lines somewhere, had the ac checked everything was ok , apart from it having no gas in it , so obviously got it re gassed, the ac worked lovely now and it has done since I had it regassed, but the ac fan don't work ,
unless some one tells me of some thing else to change or a definite way of testing it , ill just live with it

Re: Aux Fan
no idea if this will help at all, but my aux fan wouldn't stop working. Just kept running. AC gas was low(wish) but not drastically so. Got that re-gassed and then learned that is was the AC pressure sensor switch was kaput. The sensor thought the AC was on the blink so kept kicking the fan in. Maybe the sensor is worth look? My garage tested it by hooking up diagnostics, as far as I can recall, to see ether they could 'instruct' the system to switch on the ac etc which in turn told then the ac was fine but the sensor wasn't. Not sure how/if you could test yourself

Re: Aux Fan
I have replaced the aux fan temp sensor and a sensor in the coolant system but still not working,I may buy the fan and as I said earlier will plug in first to see if it works.
