No Cradle for SnapIn Adaptors

Post by G_M_S » Sat Jan 28, 2017 9:00 pm

Just pick up my new (Nov 2014) X3 2.0d SE facelift version, and I was surprised to find out that there was no cradle in the centre arm rest to plug in my SnapIn Adaptor.

The car comes with the following options in terms of navigation:

S609 Professional Navigation
S6AE Teleservices
S6AK Connected Drive Services
S6AM RTI
S6AP Remote Services
S6AR Internet
S6NH Handsfree with USB Interface

What am I missing and is it possible to get the cradle retrofitted?

Thanks

Realoem will tell you if there is an official retrofit kit.  Can't see Bluetooth or phone prep listed in your options - though it may be included in one of those you have.

If there is no official retrofit kit offered then BMW will not install it.  Dealers simply are not allowed to.
