Shadowline

Post by concept » Sun Jan 22, 2017 10:32 am

Seems not much available on the used market, so thinking about wrapping.

Would get roof rails and window trims down in gloss black, but can anyone recommend a decent gloss back grille?

Don't want cheap Chinese rubbish that won't fit properly.

Cheers

Can't answer for the rails, but the grille you can do yourself with plastic primer and a high gloss black spray top coat.  Probably cheaper than any alternative out there.

I put car into get window surrounded wrapped, decent job on all counts
I bought ebay gloss black grilles - there definitely -5hite!

I'd advise on either getting from BMW or spraying the existing ones ( I'll be painting the originals and putting on when the weather picks up!
I previously got a decent pair from mstyle.co.uk for E60, fitted far better than the eBay rubbish

Paint it is then for the grille, the genuine ones are not cheap, not that I'd expect them to be.

Wrapping for the window trims and roof rails too.

Not tried it myself but you could also try plastikote/dip. Different finish but easily removable.
