Keys.

Post by Beamer » Tue Jan 24, 2017 12:45 am

I have heard that the key fob for the X5 is self charging.

One of mine will not open my car. I have checked the all great youtube but see its a sealed unit and a bit fiddly to open. Is there a certain distance I have to drive to have this charged ?
Is this a myth about the recharging when driving?

Is it the diamond shaped key.
If it is then it does charge when driving.
They will take charge from an electric toothbrush charger.
Also the battery could be finished worn out you-tube for how to replace it.

might just need reconnecting to the car, easy enough to do yourself, search forum or google for how to do it.

make sure you do both keys at the same time though.

Ok guys thanks to my chum Colin who talked me through the pairing the keys. I now have both keys working fine.

Thanks
