Stupid questions about this....
Will it only be fitted to a car if it is in the build spec? I dont see it in the list of options specced that I have.
In the OBC there is options to switch this on via a timer,also auxiliary ventilation.
Although this is in the system that it can be switched on does that not necessarily mean that it is fitted to the car?
With the dark mornings and nights I have not had a look to see if I can find a heater under the bonnet and I was thinking of trying this out.
When the timer is set and the ignition is switched off the fan symbol stays illuminated on the dash, does this sound right, would this come on even if the car doesnt have the heater and does the light stay on all night?

Not fitted as standard after the E53 as the engines warm up quicker. There might have been a retrofit kit. If it is fitted, I think it is in the near side front wing area behind the arch guard.
