which is the dpf on my 2007 X3 2.0 diesel ? Is the one nearest the turbo or the one furthest back ?

Does this diagram help?  It should be nearest the turbo in order to ensure the right temperature.  I assumed you have the later N47 series engine.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
