X6 M 50d 2013 oil cap wrench size?

Hi, being a good BM owner just purchased the above car, I want to change the oil every 6k. Would anybody know the correct cup filter wrench size, I.e 86mm x 14 flutes etc. Thanks!

Have a look under the bonnet and use a ruler.....they are normally a lot smaller than that and use an internal cartridge rather than a metal can.

Look for a black plastic dome on the right side of the engine with a hex nut design on top.

Oil is probably Castro Edge FST Pro 0W-30 or 5W-30.  About £120 per diy change unless you get the oil on a deal.  Filter extra.  Needs two 4-litre containers.

Look at Realoem and use the last 7 characters of your VIN (as 'Serial Number') for part numbers.  Parts available from Eurocarparts and genuine before being rebadged.

Thanks for the reply, realoem shows hex type filter housing like e46 330cd, the actual filter housing is a cap filter like a very golf mk4. I'll have to measure and count the flutes.

It's a 76 MM. with 14 flutes, the same as a vw golf Mk 4 gttdi
