The n47 engine 2.0d swirl flap roads are wearing at points then snapping

Your n57s 4.0d has the same type of design as the n47 but I haven't had any in with problems as yet
But I would check it at around 50-60,000miles just Incase

Thanks for that. 
Currently at 34,000 and 6 years, but will definitely keep an eye out now I know. That means the early 2010 onwards cars with that engine have the same issue (40d in all models) I assume?
