Looking to climb back into an X model

Post by sapphireblack » Sat Nov 19, 2016 10:59 am

Ideally a 4.8 E70

Will consider a 4.8, 4.6 E53

Will also consider a 3.0l petrol E83, later model with toys and painted bumpers  :)

I don't do high mileage beaten 'trucks'. Something clean and original with a good spec and sensible miles would get my attention.

Should a mint E63 be of interest, then a trade is definitely possible  :)

2009 35d, Space Grey with Chateau leather, still below 40k miles.

Hi

Good luck with the search there seem to be a lot of people looking at the moment for X5 and putting posts on here so you have some competition, I guess it really depends on your budget.

There are a few 4.8 E70 on pistonheads at the moment available maybe worth a look.

I test drove an E70 4.8i from 'Web Car Sales' 2 weeks ago. It was fully loaded with some nice additions, it drove really well and had only 2 owners from new. It also had a complete up to date main dealer BMW history with 51,000 miles on the clock.
The reason I didn't buy it was I felt it was really poorly presented for sale (it had a large lump out of a front tyre, the headlights were misty and there was a slight kink in the bonnet - no damaged paintwork though).
The seller said he would rectify everything but I felt it should have been done prior to sale and walked away
