Been a while but i'm back in the fold !!!

Post by Neil48is » Tue Jul 12, 2016 10:04 am

After having sold my 4.8is a few years back and having flirted with Jeeps and then a V10 Touareg,i'm happy to return to the fold with our new purchase.

2011 40D SE LCI
Sparkling Bronze
50K Miles

All the spec i wanted (Sunroof,Comfort Seats,Electric Towpack,Hifi,Cams etc) and nothing i didn't.

Unfortunately it came with the standard 18" SE Wheels so i've had to remove them immediately and relegate them to winter use.

Hi and welcome back

I definitely agree the 20"s look better than the 18" you had on originally. Your Se you picked has a good spec hope you enjoy it.

Those comfort seats do look very nice...

By the way, how was the V10 touareg? We've always hankered about one but they were never 7 seaters unfortunately.

Hi and welcome back.

We don't see many in the sparkling bronze, and yes the wheel swop is a definite improvement IMHO.

Glad you got the spec you wanted as I looked at a lot X5 over a year, and mostly the M/Sport model, and only 2 of them had those seats.

Very nice, and much better with larger wheels.

I specced Comfort Seats on my E53 so did it again on the X6.  These second generation ones are even better  :).  Well worth searching out.
