TR 10

Post by Murphybarnes » Sat Nov 26, 2016 1:37 pm

A quickie. Driving home today I slipped the auto into Sport and had a very short but legal blast up the dual carriageway. The radio was on so not sure if a warning beep came on but I glanced down and saw the above title pop up on the dash then go out again. Any thoughts. Car drives fine. 2006. 3.0d.

Mortified doesn't begin to describe this. Realised it meant Track 10. Please delete. In fact feel free to delete my account. This car is stressing me out. I'm off to lie down under the duvet.

Hey Murphy, if this is the worst you've done... then wait till you hear of the other stories on here my friend LMAO

We have all been guilty of looking for parts for ages that we either have in our hand, or put some where safe.... so safe in fact.... that we lose them for a week... and spare bits left over after a repair...

In the Tr-10 case.... just feel lucky that it wasn't a gearbox warning of instant terminal destruction !

Have a great weekend & welcome to the X5 Clan.

I may never come out from this duvet. It's the only thing I own that doesn't creek, groan or beep at me. I have read the back stories and this is the reason I'm at the point of being sectioned.

Well...
If its any consolation, I got myself lobotomized last week, feels good, less stress now..
I've been sectioned by the Fashion Police many times too, for crimes against M&S... Peacocks & Next...

But hey, you are NOW part of the Clan that does not care if you have limbs or brain missing.... as long as the car works & looks pretty.... that is all that matters...

You may even find guys here that have sold organs , wives & children to keep these machines running lol

I think we should ask this become a sticky?
It would probably be the cheapest fix in the world on an X5  :beer2:

The worrying but is having said all that I would have wondered as well, and probably have posted the question myself :))

That reminds me must read handbook before I post in future : :wall:
