Re: Wanted - Intravee
If connecting to an ipod, you need a KCA 420i Alpine interface. You need to remove the multi - changer and use the plugs from that. It's really simple to fit.

There's a KCA 420i with wiring on ebay item number 152310290519. Might be worth contacting the seller direct.

Ah, I forgot that it plugs in in place of the CD change and therefore uses its wiring. Cheers!
I was watching that KCA already too! I assume I dont need the 4.5m ai-net cable he has too? Just a 5m iPod extension cable to get the phone up into the cabin?

Re: Wanted - Intravee
Thanks for the heads up. Had a look there, but it's more than I was hoping to spend given how much they are new and what the KCA420i can be had for. Cheers though.
I also didn't know I was going to have to modify the 420i, so I've just been reading up on that too.

No, you need the AI net cable. It's easier just to leave the ipod behind the hatch in the boot (if using a classic).

Re: Wanted - Intravee
Just the wiring that comes with it though needed, not the additional long cable?

Re: Wanted - Intravee
If anyone has a spare AI-NET cable for connecting the intravee to the KCL-420i unit I'd be interested in buying it (short preferably, but would also consider a long one). They seem to be out of stock on the toysinyourcar website.
