Having already watched the Youtube video on how to un-jam the rear part of my panoramic moon roof I was wondering if it is possible to re-adjust anything to stop it from jamming again ?
I dont fully undersatand how it all works yet and I dont want to go ahead and grind the small part off to stop the rear from moving ever again. I did give it a spray of grease but tried it today again and it still jams up which I can now easily fix and get it down manually again.
Has anyone studied the workings inside the runners of the roof and come up with a permanent fix by tightening a part or adjusting something ??

From reports on here and elsewhere once that starts and lube attempts fail the rear section probably needs locking out. The alternative is a complete new roof cassette at around £2.5k. These pano roofs are unfortunately another weak spot (not just on BMWs) with specialist repairs needed and from what I have seen that means major disassembly.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Thank you for that reply,.... I think I will just dis-engage the rear part ,...from the youtube tutorial it looks fairly straight forward...... thanks...

I had this issue on my E53. Quote was £800 to fix, instead I disabled the rear panel tilt following the procedure linked below. The front still tilted and you can still fully open the sunroof backwards.
