Dealer Charges for Wheel Storage

Post by bobgolden » Wed Nov 02, 2016 10:49 am

I've just had my wheels swapped and the dealer is charging £72 for 6 months storage. He says that's the going rate for X5 wheels (mine are 19").  What is everyone else paying ?

I paid local tyre fitter £20 for the changeover and store my wheels at home, free of charge.  ::)    But dealer storage of my 21" monsters is looking increasingly tempting at whatever the dealer price is as I sprained my wrist getting them out of the car .........

Dealer charge depends upon what they are paying as part of their local group.  Mine is £45 per change, but may have gone up in the last 6 months.  Still way under the charges for renting a space, and with the weight of the things, cheaper than a Chiropractor too...  :doctor:
