About to make the Plunge - Prepare yourself for stupid question time!!

Post by Chrisp1980 » Wed Aug 03, 2016 2:23 pm

Hello you knowledgeable bunch

Hypothetical question - If you had £25k to spend on either an X3 or X5 where would your money go?
What Model?
What extra's would be a must have?

Is there massive differences in running costs between 3 and 5?

Thanks very much in advance

C

Depends on yOur requirements in terms of load carrying or family size.
All things being equal the X5 will cost more in fuel and tyres than the current X3, which is the same size as the original X5.
I tried both cars out before settling on the X3. In this guise it's ridiculously quick, gives me 35 mpg and that includes central London traffic.
Very pleased and don't regret my decision to go for the smaller 4 X 4.
Not sure what else you need to know, but please come back and ask

Thanks @Pinewood.

I am definitely swaying towards X3.
What extra's should i look out for as 'must haves'?
