Great find and makes it pretty clear as to why grotty fluid replaced by new can cause so much grief.
The other thing I noted is that if the box/fluid is already bad then new fluid is very likely to tip it over the edge into needing a rebuild rather than making it better.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
