I had my first x5 for a few months now and loving it so far. It is a 2002 4.4L sport with LPG installed. I have done 600 miles on it so far and it runs perfect.
For some reason the temperature gauge is not always in the middle but I am sure it is not overheating as even when the car is stone cold upon starting it will be straight to Red and after 5 mins driving then bang in the middle. Sometime when I parked up after a long drive and start up again it will be in red again for a while then back to the middle on its own term. Never anywhere else, just blue cold, Red hot or bang in the middle !!
Time to get a garage to give it a once over to put my mind to rest
