does any one know where the little switch is on the drivers door side that tell the car the doors opened?
I can open my door without the interior lights coming on. ( only my drivers door does this)
is it in the actuator?.
cheers

Re: front door switch
It's built into the actuator. There are a couple of small wiring harnesses that attach to the actuator...this is what sends the data to the LCM that the door is open or closed. If it is open and your moving or in gear...then the LCM sends a message to the IKE (instrument cluster electronics) that the door is open.
