power.

Post by cameronrobyn » Wed Aug 17, 2016 10:32 pm

Setting off for Scotland today noticed a whooshing sound.  When I accelerated there was no power, loud woooooshing, power kicked in and noise went.  Big lag.  Initially I thought it was the blowers pushing out more air.  Seemed to be coming from just behind the steering wheel.  Had a quick look on line but now in middle of nowhere with limited signal.  Pipe come off, no vacuum?  I'm on holiday up here until Sunday.  Any help is appreciated.

Possibly cracked plastic intake manifold, or pipe between after cooler and turbo adrift loose, just guessing.

Doesnt help you right now but I had this. Replace with a cast iron one. I got mine off ebay on the back of a recommendation on here. No issues with compatability/fitting. Pm me for details

+1 as the OEM is a bit of stamped sheet metal!
