No Sound but unit looks ok on radio

Hi

I have a 4.6is 2003 and the sound is not working on the cd or radio it comes on when I start the car for 30second to a couple of mins.
then it stops I have checked all the fuses and cleaned the connections on the amp and its the same any ideas or am i looking at a new amp?

could be the bm54 module in the boot ?

Look up Carphonics and someone called Baris.  He fixes and upgrades BMW amps

Thanks all i am guessing the 54 module is the amp it dose keep coming on from time to time then the sound go's after 30-50 seconds I am guessing the amp I will ring carphonics

Yup mine does the same (although I have one speaker working constantly at the moment). Amp gone in the boot
