Post by JonnyX3 » Wed Jul 06, 2016 10:09 pm

Hello all, sad to hear the news about bmwland.

RIP

I have joined X drivers this morning as I bumped my 3 series last weekend, and decided to part company sadly as I didn't want to repair. It only had 33k on the clock for a 2009, bmw space grey 318i, such a smooth drive.

Any ways.....

With our first baby due tomorrow, I also have a 2.0d X3 to pick up Aswell! Sapphire black on a 11 plate.

Looking forward to the higher drive height and bigger boot and the new experience!

Picking it up tomorrow, depending on baby news, once the seal and protect has been applied. A big hello to everyone :)

Cheers :)

Yeah I managed to bargain it in to my deal for £0!
So I am chuffed about that, just gutted to lose the 318i, but I had it for 3 years and did fancy a change.
And the 11 plate x3 is a similar size to the old x5?

Upload pics later :)

I remember my little man's arrival.  He stayed put for 4 days before the sunroof was opened!  He was very comfy thank you very much.... >:(

Sore you for the late reply, been a touch hectic and no sleep!

Little man was due 7/7/16, I collected the x3 on that day.

Little man came the following day on the 8/7/16, at 3.46pm weighing 6lb 8oz.

First time to clean the car tomorrow....

Congratulations firstly on your son, and secondly on the X3. It's the same size as the original X5 , and plenty big enough for most. I have two tall teenagers (and a not so tall wife) and we comfortably do long journeys in the X3, with all the associated luggage the kids need like iPads,headphones,5 pairs of trainers each for an overnight stay at their nan's house
Get some pictures up of the car when you get a spare minute. Love to see black X3's ...... They are faster you know  :)
