Day/Night Mode Navigation?

Hi folks,

Is there any way to mannually or better still, automatically switch to night mode on a 2012 with pro nav?
I can't seem to find any option to do it.

Manually I think it is under the 'Options' key on the iDrive when in Nav, then Settings, then Night mode.

VW have been automatic for more than a decade!

Annoyingly so is my father in laws cx5  >:(

So i had a little play earlier.
Right click from map into options > settings > day/night mode > day : night : automatic

None did a damn thing?

Cracked it...
Unticked "traffic situation/grey map


Select Day/night mode
Hit automatic

[MattX]

And I can confirm it switches automatically.
