Temp near 30C round my way today, parked up, shut down as normal, nothing running. car left in full sunshine. 3 hours later my wife says something's odd with the car - I can see/hear the Aux fan running. By the time I get the keys to move it into the shade, fan has stopped.
As the fan in question is for HVAC I cannot imagine why this would be a normal event with ignition off for so long so suspect a fault. Have heard of the FSR causing fan problems - do they cook and throw a wobbly? Only replaced mine late last year but you never know...

Hot day today - aux fan kicked in when engine off
Re: Hot day today - aux fan kicked in when engine off
Could be the FSR is going again. It does happen.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

thanks, switched it out for a branded part, crossing fingers and no change. Logic had it FSR should be ok as blower was good in all settings.
I am getting 5v to the compressor, aux fan works when tested with INPA, when I unplug the pressure sensor clutch kicks in for 2-3 secs then stops.
So I am guessing switch, refrigerant levels or evap sensor, or even control unit are preventing compressor running...???
