! mark on dash.
Having driven some 300 miles in my X1 X18d automatic a exclamation mark ! Came up next to the D for drive. D ! Has anyone got an idea what it means.I have not noticed it before or since.

I don't know, did you check in the user manual what the fault meant?

If you pull the gear selector from P or N to D, without depressing the release button, that symbol appears - it basically means your doing something wrong :blink:
