Rear inner lights nackered
Rear inner lights nackered
So sent the e70 in for an inspection and found that both rear inner lights have had it and so has the sat nav DVD drive, so the question is are the led or non led lci lights a direct fit? Cheers Gaz

Re: Rear inner lights nackered
Do you mean bye "rear inner lights" the light fittings on the tailgate? If so they are LED tail lights that cannot be replaced individually - the whole unit has to be swapped. On the earlier made models the gasket behind the light units decomposed letting water in and that's usually what causes the lights to fail. New replacements will have a much better gasket to cure(?) the problem. I had mine done about 2 years ago and the cost was about £140 for each unit, fitted at my local BMW bodyshop.
Hope this helps,
Graeme

If its the outer lights then as Graeme suggests replace the whole unit.

Hi yes I mean the whole inner light unit/cluster it looks horrible inside where water has been sitting was just thinking now I have the expense of replacing the entire units it might be better to go for the lci units if they are a direct fit
