Bluetooth call jitter (cuts in and out)

I've recently started to experience really bad jitter on Bluetooth calls to the point where I just can't use it because every other word is cut out.  I'm using an iPhone 6S, have tried re-pairing, bluetooth audio works fine and I have tried in a few different locations so it's not related to the mobile signal etc.

Anyone else had this issue?  I was working fine a while ago.  I don't know whether this is since the last IOS update or since I updated CIC with the latest Bluetooth update from their website.

Bit of lunchtime research suggests the IOS update broke it.  Suggestion is to turn off the new 'Handoff' feature.  Will try this evening and report back.

Well, when I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago I used Apple CarPlay in the hire car (it just set itself up when I plugged the phone in to the car to charge).  This evening I went in to 'Settings>General>CarPlay' and deleted the hire car which was still showing up there.  Now my Bluetooth calling works fine again.

Very strange that it would be a problem at all or show itself in this way - but at least it was easy to resolve in the end.  Hope this helps someone with the same problem in future.

Well doesn't seem to have fixed it - still having the same issue today  >:(
