Folding Mirrors Standard

Post by J30NNN » Tue May 17, 2016 11:10 pm

Hi - just bought a 2014 E71 40d from my local dealership but realized that the car will sit tight between two walls on the driveway. Can anyone advise if folding mirrors would be standard on a 2014? Looked online but struggled to find standard spec of car. Cheers  :)

Hi
Try this link
https://www.bmw.co.uk/dam/brandBM/marke ... yzDSseEhZE

It seems to show that they were an cost option on X6 not standard.

Hi 330NNN
I think you can still fold them manually.

Also some people have retro fitted folly mirrors On the E53 and it may be worth looking at that option for the E70.

Just be careful here - E53 has one wiring loom that allowed retrofit, not sure on the E70. You'll have to get the door card off and see if there are any unused connectors taped up in there.
