Did you have if mapped? if so then bring the 335 as I'm interested to how well it goes :))

As Imy has mentioned I'm running more than just a map for sure. So yes it will be the chariot for the day.

Excellent, will definitely be picking your brain regarding a 'toy car'.
Looking forward to seeing your 335 and other X5 knowledge share and banter with the other boys.

Raj & others.....Should anyone attending tomorrow be able to confirm they definitely have a spare alloy wheel nut for my E53 then it will save me hunting around breakers today. Please PM me if one located.

Happy to send it or another back to home address of donor once I source another, (to avoid someone having a spare set minus one).

May seem random posting this here but only noticed yesterday evening & mindful we are meeting up tomorrow.

I did text Jason to see if he has one but he hasn't replied yet.

Great to meet all of you and renew friendships again.  I can't believe it's been three years!  :o

Graeme, that is one seriously cool E70 you now have.  Needs a few decibels adding to the exhaust note  :)

Jason, thanks for feeding the crew too  :)

Well done Sanj for corralling us too.

Thanks for a good day out and a nice chat which made do it an enjoyable Sunday.

Jason thank you for your hospitality, Dom I hope checking the wiring on my car helps with the led light install. Alan thank for doing the bbq.

Raj I do need to be need to have a run out in your 335 as it looks and sounds awesome, and sorry about your screen but i know you'll have it sorted soon.

Sanj thanks for putting all the effort in organising us lot much appreciated, and I can do you deal on the sidelight led's :)

Thanks again to all those we chatted to and for the nice comments about my e70 and as you say Richard I'll have to start saving for that exhaust.

In fairness I didn't hear it full chat as you sensibly didnt give it beans when static and not under load.

An unbeliveably smooth sounding engine.......if it were mine I would keep it stock & cherish this unabused factory fresh car. A lot to be said for quiet performance on longer trips. (said the man who had 2 cars with decent aftermarket exhaust sytems and appreciated the sound and driveability improvement).

Hi all,

Thanks for a great day out and for welcoming me into your little 'gang'. Really enjoyed the banter and knowledge shared. X5Sport, sincere apologies for missing you in person today. I really wanted to thank you for the knowledge shared on this forum and how much your information has helped, thanks again.

Looking forward to the next meet and as I mentioned I might have to bug one or two of you shortly for my next few mods....  ;)

Jason & team, great bbq and hospitality, thanks for making the effort.

Cheers

What a great day everyone.

Was really good to meet everyone and catch up with old friends and make some new ones too.

Already been onto Admiral about a genuine BM screen replacement (just got to wait for next Tuesday lol). Graeme, apologies didn't get to take you out in the 3er but hopefully we'll get another meet organised sooner rather than later.

Thanks Sanj/Jason for organising and gutted didn't have time to get the 3er on the dyno. Would have been nice to see how much she's pushing.

Take care all.
