Knocking and banging

Hi all, well the X5 has started knocking/ banging /creaking been into the garage and he said this:

O/s/f lower front suspension inner arm bush split causing excessive movement same for the n/s/f

N/s and o/s rear lower suspension inner arm bushes split

Can you just replace the bushes or does this have to be full arms? Also is this an expensive job he said I can source my own parts if I want to or he can price it all up.

Parts can be got from Eurocarparts.  Replacing the arms complete is the more frequent (and easier) usual choice.
