Im having an potential issue with my X5. Recently Ive had to change the battery, and I wasnt sure why it died all of a sudden.
Ive noticed that when I alarm or disarm the alarm via teh remote - it sounds like a fan is coming on in the engine bay. I had a look and it sounds like its coming from the Aux heating. Ive checked via the music screen and the aux heating is set to off.
Is this normal - any ideas on what could be triggering it. Im worried my new battery might killed of prematurely.
I'm getting no warningmessages or lights.
Thx in advance.

Re: Fan engages when locked or unlocked
Can be a faulty PCB in the aux Webasco heater. Try unplugging the multi plug from it and leave it off for a few days.
Mine never worked either, summer is here so you won't be needing it HOPEFULLY
