tuning the 2,0d
Re: tuning the 2,0d
On my old 2.0d I had it remapped by MoreBHP in Crewe. It ironed out all the flat spots and made it a much comfortable car to use.
On my 3.0sd I have a Chipexpress box and BMC air filter. I am very pleased with it but don't think it is as good as proper remap.
If you do go tuning box route buy a reputable brand chipexpress, race chip, spider etc it will cost more but shouldn't cause any problems. The cheap £10-30 boxes are just a resistor.

Looking for same sort of information, looking at sorting the swirl flaps with blanking plates, fitting a vortex oil seperator and cleaning up the egr valve to help it all breath as I've read in a few places these clog up, have had a new mass air flow sensor fitted as came up on eml

I've just had my 2007 LCI 2.0 d remapped along with a carbon clean.
I went for a mix of power and economy, this gave me an extra 40 bhp and 80 Nm of torque.
It is a much smoother drive with higher gears more usable at lower speeds.
Total cost was £329.00
My original power output was 150bhp
