Are the mats genuine BMW ones and do they affix to the carpet in any way? I have worn eBay tat in mine at the moment and the drivers mat is always sliding forward.

Yes I bought them as genuine used BMW mats and they didn't have a lot of wear, as on the drivers side I put a rubber over mat as the drivers side always got used. I think I had two occasions where the rear mats had use.

From memory the rears were just placed in footwell. Where as the fronts had some Velcro for mats but they didnt stick that well but as the mats were shaped they stayed in place.

I'll get you some pics this morning of the reverse of the mats

As I thought the rears are just place ther. The front have square on the back which can stick to Velcro pads see pics below
