Wheels Refurbished!

Post by XDRIVER86 » Fri Apr 15, 2016 3:43 pm

Just had my wheels refurbished by a company in Manchester for the total of £200. Tyres removed, wheels chemically stripped, shot blasted, powder coated, tyres back on and balanced. Just got them home now and treated them with Gyeon Q2 Rim ceramic coating. Anyway I have to let the coating cure for 24 hours before I put them on the car so will put some more pics up tomorrow. I've not named the company as I didn't know if it was allowed. I'm really pleased with the finish and I am really fussy. For £200 I don't know how they make any money but I'm not complaining.

Hi

That definitely looks worth the money to me and it will improve the car.

So I look forward to pics of them on the car tomorrow

That looks like a good job for the money. I must get our cars done as it does add value to a vehicle.

Wow - that looks like an amazingly good job. Down South you'd only get 2 wheels done for that price (maybe 3 if you're very lucky).

You're lucky too! Anybody know of a cheap & reliable refurbisher in the Herts/West Essex/North London areas? Personally, I know an expensive rubbish one.

the only problem now is the front tyres have worn unevenly, I changed the bushes a few weeks ago and now the car is pulling. New tyres going on on Tuesday, already had to replace the rears due to one been damaged...now turning out to be more expensive than first planned...
