E53 Facelift HeadLight

Post by ajackson » Fri Apr 08, 2016 6:24 pm

Hi Guys

Looking for new headlight or headlights, the misses hit a pheasant yesterday and my o/s headlight ate it, so ive been looking around ebay etc i'm thinking of maybe buying both because the n/s is a little dull but not sure if there are any that are direct replacements at a reasonable price someone could recommend.

any ideas?

thanks

Ebay... lots on there at about £100 ! Chunk... bit will need to get a matched pair ideally.
check the Halo rings etc... and all the specs, mine a ebay copies, and actually better than the OEM originals in my opinion.

Hi,
What watt are the bulbs for the Halo rings?
I am looking at LED ones and they come in all sorts of watts from 3w to 12w
These ones are 5w:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222080581946? ... EBIDX%3AIT

these ones are 6w:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-6W-White-A ... Swl9BWHgxC

I would like to keep to the manufacturers wattage.

I would go salvage OE all the way.....the dull one probably needs lens refurb only so buy a pair & sell dull one or buy just one and get tired one refurbed.

Aftermarket non OE units would not be my choice, can look tasteless & put off buyers in future resale.
