I've just done mine, it takes all of 3 minutes, and thats because i had to look for my 13mm socket. (Note to self, look for a cheap small toolbox as a carrier bag ain't cutting it! Lol)

I may treat myself to one of those. Talking of inefficient wipers- when I got my car the rear wipe was really slow. I took everything out and found that the spindle where it goes through the window was sticking. I couldnt get it out but I took off the seal and got some wd40 in it. Much better now.

I fitted mine today.

Yes it looks better, yes it works better. But .....the blade is noticeably stronger than the original version - reduces the diameter of the sweep quite noticeably by around 3 inches or so which is quite lot when it comes to screen visibility.

Surprised no-one has commented upon this already.

May just refit the old one.

I found that I prefer to lose the 3in approx sweep cleaning as opposed to 5-6in I was losing with the original Arm.

Which is a fair comment but I wasn't losing much at all with mine. I clean the hinge on the arm when I clean the car each week anyway so that always sorted the issue

My E70 wiper arrived yesterday. The one on the back of my 2001 car was already a plastic one similar to the E70 but it was upside down if you get my drift. The wife's 2003 rear wiper was totally different- it is an old school metal arm with a small round cap that had to be prised off to get to the nut. That car got my old one..
