Alloy wheel corrosion

Post by Steve p » Tue Mar 29, 2016 10:51 pm

2013 x5 ,Had 2 alloys replaced under warranty due to corrosion around centre cap about 1 month ago.
When I asked why only 2 of them were replaced they're answer was the other 2 are ok , well
after spending all day cleaning the car the other 2 wheels that hadn't been changed are getting
worse so a trip to the dealers today to ask them for replacements I got turned away as the warranty ran out yesterday .is there anything I can do .
Cheers ste

If you raised the issue before and we're given the brush off I would go to bmw direct !

Had a similar thing with mine but mine was a auc and they wouldn't replace the wheels and re furb kept bubbling so in the end they powder coated mine hope fully this will last.

I would have preferred the standard finish though tbh
